Dividing Mixed Numbers

The Dividing Mixed Numbers worksheet challenges 6th and 7th graders to combine multiple fraction skills: converting mixed numbers, finding reciprocals, and simplifying results.

How to Solve Fractions - Division

First convert each mixed number to an improper fraction. Then apply 'Keep, Change, Flip' — keep the first improper fraction, change to multiplication, and flip the second. Cross-cancel if possible, multiply, and convert back to a mixed number. This multi-step process requires careful attention at each stage.
