This free printable rounding decimals worksheet is ideal for 5th graders extending the rounding rule past the decimal point. Every problem rounds a two-place decimal to the nearest tenth, so the deciding digit is always the hundredths place.

How to Solve Decimals - Concepts

Find the tenths digit, then look one place to its right. If the hundredths digit is 5 or more, round the tenths digit up; if it is 4 or less, keep it. For 3.47, the 7 pushes the 4 up, so the answer is 3.5. Everything after the tenths place drops away.
