This free printable counting worksheet extends kindergarteners from counting to 10 up to counting to 20. The symbols print in groups of five, quietly introducing the counting-by-groups idea that makes larger counts manageable.

How to Solve Counting & Comparing

Touch each symbol once while counting out loud from left to right — the last number said is the answer. For bigger groups, use the five-groups: count 5, 10, 15 for the full groups, then count on the leftover symbols one at a time.
