Multiplying Decimals (Hundredths)
The Multiplying Decimals (Hundredths) worksheet is an advanced exercise for 6th graders working with multi-decimal-place multiplication requiring careful decimal point placement.
How to Solve Decimals - Multiplication
Multiply as whole numbers first, then count the total decimal places in both factors to position the decimal in the product. With hundredths, you may have three or four decimal places total in the product. If your whole-number product does not have enough digits, add leading zeros before placing the decimal point.
