How to Solve Percentages

To find the percent, divide the part by the whole and multiply by 100. Remember: the whole is the number after "of". For example, in "What percent of 80 is 20?", 80 is the whole and 20 is the part, so 20 divided by 80 times 100 equals 25 percent.
