Dividing Decimals by Whole Numbers (Easy)
Our Dividing Decimals by Whole Numbers (Easy) worksheet introduces 5th graders to decimal division with the simplest scenario — a decimal dividend divided by a small whole number.
How to Solve Decimals - Division
Set up the long division with the decimal number inside the bracket and the whole number outside. Place the decimal point in the quotient directly above the decimal point in the dividend. Then divide as you would with whole numbers — the decimal point is already in the correct position.
