Adding and Subtracting Negative Integers
The Adding and Subtracting Negative Integers worksheet challenges 6th and 7th graders with a mix of positive and negative integer operations, building sign-awareness and fluency.
How to Solve Integers (Negatives)
For addition: if the signs are the same, add the absolute values and keep the sign. If the signs differ, subtract the smaller absolute value from the larger and use the sign of the larger. For subtraction: convert to addition of the opposite first, then apply the addition rules.
