10 Times Table

This free printable 10 times table worksheet is ideal for 2nd and 3rd graders. The 10s are the simplest table of all — and the anchor table, because the 9s, 11s, and 12s are all fastest to compute as small adjustments from the 10s.

How to Solve Multiplication

Attach a zero: 10 × 7 = 70. It works because multiplying by ten shifts every digit one place to the left — a first taste of place value. Make these automatic; they unlock the neighboring tables (9 × n is 10 × n minus n, 11 × n is 10 × n plus n).
